My name is Liz Gill and I was born outside of Chicago, Illinois, but I grew up in San Anselmo, CA in the Bay Area. I spent the past four years at Columbia University in New York studying English and Creative Writing, but I've always been interested in Visual Arts as well. I'm currently a Print Journalism major at USC.
I'm interested in Arts and Sports reporting as well as photojournalism and long-form documentaries. Some of my favorite publications are The New Yorker and New York Magazine. I also admire MediaStorm.org, Flotrack.org, and other independent creative journalistic projects. Some photographers/photojournalists I admire are Dorothea Lange and Annie Leibovitz.
I'm also running on the USC Cross Country and Track teams this year.
