When I was in Killeen, TX, at Thanksgiving, my daughter got a call from a former co-worker about another co-worker who had learned of a mutual co-worker's death after contracting H1N1.
The girl was about 24 years old and had visited Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital's ER three times, complaining of worsening flu symptoms. Each time she was sent home (not an unusual occurrence for that particular hospital ER). This hospital is located in Santa Clarita, CA.
The final time she went in, she lapsed into a coma and died. Otherwise, she was a healthy young woman.
I did not speak with the young man myself, but if you are interested, I can contact the person who called my daughter and tell them that you are doing this study. Perhaps he can put you in touch with the family.
It would not surprise me if others had died there because this ER is notorious for misdiagnosing ailments.

highest rate of hospitalization due to novel H1N1 It is unclear if novel H1N1 is disproportionately affecting Latinos or if Latinos are more likely to seek medical care at hospitals instead
of private doctors.
Look at research before jumping to conclusions, Mexican Americans where at the highest, Asian at the lowest, and they are neighbors. So your theory would be incorrect based on research studies.
This map really tells us a lot.There are virtually no deaths on the richer westside of L.A. I think we need a national health care program. Thanks.
